"In this role you will provide analytic recommendations and operational support for existing and future agreements with payer organizations and Government entities. It is an outstanding opportunity to join a company which has recently entered the pharmaceutical market and has a number of drugs in development together with one successful drug on the market currently. This position will assist in both the evaluation and administration of contractual agreements with Managed Care customers and the analytic support of the Payer teams to foster sales growth in key markets, maximize profit margins and ensure compliance with corporate discounting objectives. For this role you should have strong Medicaid, Medicare and Government Pricing experience. You should understand invoicing and Managed Care submissions and preferably be good with data analytics. Responsibilities include: • Manage the administration of contractual agreements with Commercial Managed Care and Government customers to foster sales growth in key markets, maximize profit margins and ensure compliance with corporate discounting objectives. • Process quarterly payments for Managed Care rebate contracts. Forward notification of payment and detail report to clients electronically. • The evaluation and interpretation of managed care contracts to ensure rebate payments are made accurately and timely as per the terms and conditions of the contracts. • Responsible for maintaining an effective customer focus: communicating with and providing rebate claim supporting documentation to external and internal customers. • Process quarterly payments for state Medicaid drug rebate invoices pursuant to the OBRA ’90 legislation. • Process quarterly payments for Medicare Part D invoices. Forward notification of payment and detail report to clients electronically. • Responsible for issue resolution related to contracting and processes related to these functions. • Responsible for the analysis and resolution of disputed rebate claim data. • Maintain systems and logs to track status of contracts and rebate processing for review. • Interact with managed care field managers and directors and other internal departments to clarify, collect and communicate contract information. • Monitor and report on the performance of existing contracts and market share of company products relative to those of competitors through Managed Care Organizations, government submissions and 3rd party data sources. Analyze accuracy of account utilization data. Confirm the data contains consistent units of measure, all relevant information within the therapeutic category, and correctly reflect activity with the reporting period. • Process and finalize reimbursement payments to customers. Analyze discrepancies, questions, and requests related to reimbursements. For this role you should have: • A Bachelors degree • 3-5 years of experience with supporting federal government pricing programs including pharmaceutical experience or federal or state government affairs, contracting or government pricing experience preferred including demonstrated knowledge of statutes, regulations and agency guidance. • 2 years of experience with processing quarterly rebate payments for commercial and government contracts. • Demonstrable analytical skills to identify and understand issues and problems as they relate to sales, revenue models, price calculations, and contract trends. • Proven ability to multitask in a deadline driven environment • Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
