Responsibilities: Performing plant protection duties, to include, monitoring alarm/access systems; controlling access to facilities; maintaining and preparing various reports; providing guard tours of indoor and outside facilities; performing initial investigations; administering First Aid and CPR; maintaining classified and non-classified storage systems; and responding to inquiries and requests from employees and/or visitors. This position will patrol multiple buildings; may walk 6+ miles each night. Requirements: • High school degree or equivalent and a minimum of two years experience in security or related field or an associate’s degree in a relevant discipline. • Substantial experience in one or more of the following areas: integrated alarm, access control and communication systems, fire detection suppression equipment, emergency medical services, and locksmithing. • Ability to obtain necessary security clearance required by customers. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work shifts (i.e. nights, weekends, and holidays) in our Broomfield/Boulder facilities. • This position will work 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.; every other weekend off. • This position requires ability to gain DoD security clearance. Employment start date will be contingent on obtaining an interim clearance. Relocation: Relocation for this position is NOT Available"
