Subject: MSL - Chicago, IL Robyn Suter posted a job: MSL - Chicago, IL "inVentiv Therapeutics Institute is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) who will provide medical and scientific support to both internal and external customers and respond to information enquiries and drug safety issues. The MSL will provide support to the commercial activities, research, marketing, and safety issues within the Region consistent with legal and regulatory requirements. They will have responsibility of acting as a medical expert for one or more of the company’s key products and will have established their reputation outside of their region through cross functional collaboration. They will be recognized as a key partner to their commercial partners and seen as adding medical value to the business. • Presenting scientific information and published and approved clinical trial information. • Key Opinion Leader development. • Involved in the dissemination of Client approved clinical data. • Participation at regional and national scientific meetings as requested. • Involvement in the assessment and monitoring of Client approved investigator initiated trials. Requirements: • A doctorate degree and license within respective specialty. • 3-5 years experience in a medical affairs role in the pharmaceutical industry • Experience in ultrasound or echocardiogram highly preferred • Good commercial acumen and experience in a commercial environment. • Must demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills to a range of internal and external customers • Must be self-motivated and confident team player with attention to detail. • Experience of approving promotional materials in accordance with the appropriate regulations is also a plus. • Must have ability to travel (75% overnight travel) Benefits: At inVentiv health, we believe in providing an environment and culture in which Our People can thrive, develop and advance.
