This is full time perm & direct hire too! "MUST HAVE MINERAL EXTRACTION EXPERIENCE!!! This key position is based at our R&D facility in the San Francisco Bay Area, and interfaces with scientists and engineers in both R&D and Plant Engineering / Operations. You will play a key role on a team tasked with the design, construction, and commissioning of the first minerals extraction plant of it's type in the world. Requirements •Minimum of 5 years industrial experience, with at least 2 years in the metals extraction industry •Knowledge of precipitation, filtration, ion exchange, solvent extraction and electrowinning and related equipment •Proven experience in the design and operation of pilot plants, including PFD/Mass Balance •Experience with Aspen software preferred •Ability to conceptualize and manage scale-up from pilot to commercial •Large scale project management experience •Up to 50% travel, including USA, Canada, International •Demonstrated experience in driving exceptional safety, with good knowledge of safety systems and processes •Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal, and cross cultural) •Ability to collaborate across functional and organizational lines, and capable of working with all levels of individuals •Exhibits the highest ethical standards Please take note that WE NEED a US Citizen/Permanent Resident only.
