Cindy Cristy has started a discussion: In need of a Service Manager "Title: Service Manager Location: Lodi, CA Salary: $62k - $67k Position: A heavy equipment manufacturer, established in 1890 is seeking a reliable Service Manager to manage remote staff members located in 11 Western states. Responsibilities: •Provide technical support and information to dealers and provide guidance to field support staff in conducting onsite reviews to resolve concerns. Provide division service representatives with technical expertise and guidance. •Create, implement, and execute technical training programs, seminars and schools for dealers in assigned division and manage the related budget. •Review, resolve, and document customer dissatisfaction issues, in partnership with dealer network service field staff. Update and manage customer contact database. •Administer, promote, and manage Technical Service Certification Program for division dealers. Set annual goals for field staff to continuously improve quality of customer service support. •Responsible for the administration of the annual business plan and budget of assigned department. •Complete and submit various service department reports such as technical service reports, travel/call records, monthly department activity reports and other reports as required. •Manage employees in department including, hiring, managing performance, training, coaching, and distributing and reviewing work. Requirements: •Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Mechanics, Engineering or related field and 5 to 7 years related experience. •Excellent oral and written communication skills. •Effective leadership skills, including the ability to motivate staff. •Mechanical knowledge of agricultural, turf, and construction equipment. •Excellent customer relation skills and proven ability to professionally handle confrontational issues. •Proficient using a computer, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. •Strong service background and management experience." |
