Greythorn is an international recruitment firm with teams dedicated to specific IT verticals. My client in Virginia is currently looking for an Epic Healthcare security expert to assist with an Epic implementation. You will be part of team that controls access to the client's system and performs daily security functions as needed to keep the client's implementation on track. The full job description is listed below: SR. APPLICATION SECURITY ANALYST Job Details: Epic Certification is offered. Relocation to Virginia is required and relocation assistance will be provided. POSITION SUMMARY: Provide daily operational security administration and access control support to an Epic Healthcare implementation. Support Epic access control initiatives throughout the enterprise. Act as a resource for other business units on technical Epic security matters. Participate in the planning, development, and deployment of Epic access control standards and processes into production. Develop supporting documentation and procedures for these processes. Evaluate and refine existing processes. Analyze user access needs, develop access roles, and add/change/delete user access to the Epic application. Provide Epic user security and access support, especially over the phone and direct end users and staff on how to properly submit access requests. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Perform daily systems security administration functions, including managing customer access requests; creating, modifying and/or deleting customer profiles and accounts; maintaining appropriate documentation; and perform all Security audits. • Perform or assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing customer access problems; correct identified problem(s) and maintain appropriate documentation. • Monitor and audit Epic access log files as appropriate/requested. Analyze, interpret and present audit findings into clear, concise reports. • Analyze and integrate Epic access controls-specific log information, including operating system-level access logs. Perform event correlation as required. • Conduct regular reviews of the Epic system to identify real and/or potential security and/or access weaknesses. • Receive research and interpret Epic security threat warnings from internal tools. • Facilitate the identification and resolution of Epic security issues. • Coordinate large build projects for implementation and coordinate with Application teams to ensure proper build of EMP and SER records. • Be a SME concerning Heat resolution and assist Security Specialists in resolving tickets. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Required Qualifications • Bachelor degree from an accredited university or college. • Three years experience working in IS in the healthcare industry in IS security administration. • Epic security experience • Security certification (and experience using the certification) • Experience in managing multiple Epic security implementations • Strong Epic experience pertaining to EMP, SER, E2R, and ECL INI’s. • Outstanding Visual Basic and / or Access database skills. • Datafile migration experience • Demonstrated expertise in the entire Microsoft Office Suite which includes Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
