(This is the general Java Developer description for all levels) Organization: Systems Integration & Technology / US Delivery Center Location: San Antonio, TX Permanent position includes full benefits & 5+wks PTO per year The San Antonio Delivery Center is part of the Accenture's US Delivery Center organization, which is comprised of six delivery centers that create client value through innovative technology solutions primarily focused in Application Outsourcing, ERP solutions, Information Management Services, and Net Centric solutions. Our San Antonio Delivery Center employees can expect to: • work with cutting edge technology • deliver high-quality solutions across multiple industries • work on a variety of projects ranging in both size and scope • receive continuous training and career development The Java Development Analyst is involved hands on in designing, coding, enhancing and testing of software applications to meet business process requirements. He/she applies functional knowledge and technical expertise in the implementation of configuration changes and maintenance of software applications. Key responsibilities may include: • Full life cycle Java development from design, programming, and testing to application delivery • Design and implementation of analyses that will identify requirements related to people, processes and technology • Development of technical design documents (specifications) based on functional design documents (business requirements) • Design and develop applications based on technical/functional design documents. Includes hands on involvement in designing, coding and testing of program modules • Creation, execution and documentation of tests necessary to ensure that an application or technical environment meets performance requirements (technical, functional and user interface) • Maintenance, repair and performance tuning of applications. • End user support activities Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
