Sony Thomas has started a discussion: An MNC in Gurgaon is hiring Senior business analyst .if you are interested please forward your resume to hr@fijobs.co.in or call joseph at 8826746237 "Responsibilities: • Responsible for working with the business to gather understand and document business needs and requirements, using structured methodologies and tools. • Supports the analysis of business requirements by utilizing knowledge of one or more business areas and platforms/applications for the portfolio supported. • Utilizes modeling techniques (for example, business process, data, event, use cases), to discover and clarify the functional and data requirements. • Reviews supporting business case throughout the course of delivery to ensure that business case objectives are met, and escalates (where necessary) with Program/Project Management, as appropriate. • Works with the business to understand and determine system implications in terms of the platform(s)/application(s) and business processes. • Facilitates meetings with the business to gather and document business needs and requirements. • Works with development teams to ensure that proposed design meets requirements and enterprise quality standards. • Work in conjunction with Testing & Quality Assurance resources (if applicable) to determine system and user testing requirements, and coordinate testing phases. • Provides regular updates to assigned Program/Project Manager. • Develops test plans, including identification of test scenarios/ cases. • Coordinates test phases in conjunction with Testing & Quality Assurance resources (if applicable). • Assists in the analysis of issues and is able to trace it to the relevant requirements. • May act as a Lead Business Analyst for smaller/less complex project work. • Reviews development estimates from development teams and actively seeks clarification/verification, as appropriate. • Assists in implementation planning and attends Post Implementation Reviews to ensure lessons learned are carried forward in subsequent development activities. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field (or has equivalent work experience). • Typically possesses prior relevant professional work experience in business requirements and analysis, or technical development/support. • Strong leadership dimensions as follows: Winning Strategies / big picture, Communication, Builds and Leverages Relationships, Driving Innovation and Change and Driving Results; • Excellent relationship and influencing skills, must be able to collaborate and guide individuals and teams to consensus; proven problem solving and strong verbal and written communication skills are a must; • Positive individual with high-energy and detail-orientation. • Proactive and able to work well under pressure in an independent global environment under different time zones and against conflicting priorities; • Must be proficient with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Project, Visio,PowerPoint), must have excellent PowerPoint skills and presentation experience. • Prior experience of working on SharePoint, BPM will be added advantages • Candidates with project management skills will have an advantage • Strong Communication skills are a must"
