CV in word format 3. put the subject AS AD1 ET 0210 – Electronics Technician 4. send to: jade@jtwglobaloilandgasrecruiters.com cc: saneesh@jtwglobaloilandgasrecruiters.com jhtw.core@jtwglobaloilandgasrecruiters.com 5. wait for the reply Electronics Technician Location: offshore, Abu Dhabi Closing Date: 6th Oct 2011 Minimum Requirements Education • HND/HNC of equivalent in electronics and Control systems • Good knowledge of spoken and written English Experience • 5 years in electronics and computer PLC based systems • A sound experience in Fire and Gas Detection and Protection System is preferable Role & Scope • Carry out the routine and first line maintenance of Electronics/ control systems installed on offshore complexes • To investigate and trouble shoot any arising system operational problems • To liaise the second line repair of defective parts with maintenance services group in Abu Dhabi • To carry out related duties such as preparing standard report forms for preventive and breakdown maintenance/ routine work • To maintain good housekeeping • To report daily to Technical Specialist (Electronics) (Utility) on work completed and work in progress Work Performed • Carry out first line maintenance of wide range of sophisticated PLC based electronics systems installed in offshore platform. (1) Distributed Control System (DCS) (2) Emergency Shutdown System (ESD) (3) Fire and Gas (F and G (4) Well head telemetry System • Associate with commissioning and site acceptance test (SAT) of new systems • Attends installation and maintenance of UPS and other electronics equipment in offshore platform • Performed planned maintenance programmed and ensure that they are carried our promptly and efficiently as per company maintenance procedure • Assist in preparing technical reports regarding performance of plant equipment for technical evaluation • Works according to company established procedures and professional engineering standards • Coordinates with specialist in updating of engineering records/ drawings • Ensures adherence of company’s safety policy, standards and procedures in installation/ commissioning and maintenance activities • Calibration and maintenance of safety portable equipment used in offshore"
