Subject: PeopleSoft EPM Developer, Software Programmer wanted for Fantastic Opportunity with Pacific NW Energy & Utilities Organization; position based in Portland, OR ~ Renewable Annual Contract Jacqueline Harrison posted a job: PeopleSoft EPM Developer, Software Programmer wanted for Fantastic Opportunity with Pacific NW Energy & Utilities Organization; position based in Portland, OR ~ Renewable Annual Contract "The PeopleSoft EPM Developer is a position requiring demonstrated experience using Oracle PeopleSoft Suite of tools including PeopleTools, DataStage, Informatica, and BI Publisher. This position will develop Extract, Transformation and Loading (ETL) procedures for implementing data integration and data migration tasks in support of Data Warehousing and other data integration projects. In addition to new development, responsibilities will also include support of operations and maintenance on a rotational basis. Skill Requirements: ·Hands on experience with PeopleSoft EPM 9.0 components and its data warehouse, data mart structure ·Hands on experience with PeopleTools 8.50 or higher ·Hands on experience with DataStage and/or Informatica ETL tools ·Hands on experience with gathering and analyzing user requirements, performing fit/gap analysis and developing prototypes. ·Data Warehousing design techniques ·Data analysis, source system analysis and data mapping ·Experience implementing task automation and monitoring ·Oracle relational database systems ·Microsoft 2005/8 SQL Analysis and Integration Services ·Ability to understand a client’s business quickly and translate that understanding into a well-designed IT solution. ·Ability to ask the ‘right’ questions to draw out the requirements to assist the business unit making the right decision. ·Experienced with change control deployment between Development, Testing and Production system methods and procedures Performance Requirements: ·Carry out assigned tasks with a professional demeanor reflected in excellent written and oral communication skills, listening skills, patience, analytical reasoning and problem solving abilities. ·Ability to work autonomously given specific assignments. ·Ability to meet timelines, milestones, and deliverables and provide timely (daily) status updates. ·Communicate technical information verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical users. ·Provide on-call and backup support for existing systems and functions. Location for on-call and backup support may be at our Client facilities or off-site. Required to carry a Client supplied cell phone/pager and work non-core hours when requested. ·Understand and follow established processes and procedures including Change Management, Work Tracking and Time Management.
