"Act as a subject matter expert on reporting solution design, development, and performance/production support. Responsible for reporting and analysis on Sales & Service metrics and cost measures. This position will be working with HSN systems to provide timely and accurate reporting/analysis at all levels of the sales and service areas. Strong analytical, communication, and database manipulation skills are required. • Authority in our Reporting database schema and table/field definitions. • Develops new reporting as necessary which will include writing source code, sourcing appropriate data, and maintaining report usability for distribution. • Ensures automated reporting is current and available. • Continually review/adjust current reporting to ensure data integrity • Create, maintain and update reports to reflect call center trends and focus, identify areas of opportunity/success, analyze performance, and forecast impact. • Work with other team members to create and maintain a dictionary detailing the metrics, attributes, and measures contained in the team's reporting solutions. • Interface with Corporate reporting teams to help ensure consistency and clarity of similar data sets/reports created between groups (i.e. IR, Kronos). • Use time management techniques to ensure on time task completion and identify conflicting priorities to management. • Provides ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed. • Performs other duties as assigned. Min Requirements: • Understanding of Database schema • Knowledge of Crystal Reporting • Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices • Outstanding organizational and analytical thinking ability • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and deadline specific environment • Proficient in Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel or other spreadsheet application. • Ability and willingness to work with all levels of the corporation Preferred Requirements: • 2 years or more database management experience • 3 - 5 years analytical and reporting experience in a high call volume, multi skilled call center. • Intermediate level knowledge of the Avaya switch (i.e., Call routing, VDN's, skills etc.) • Ability to write SQL statements • Understanding of basic Web page design • Knowledge of Verizon Reporting Tools • Knowledge of Genesys Reporting Tools • Knowledge of Avaya CMS Reporting Tools and Databases • Knowledge of Nice Analyzer • Knowledge of Performix or dashboard type reporting tool • Bachelors degree or related experience"
