They are also focused on creating and capturing additional value through our natural gas gathering and marketing businesses. Their primary business is the exploration for and production of natural gas within North America. Description Utilize various recruiting sources to identify possible candidates, such as: professional associations, networking, internet, employee referrals, search firms, and direct cold-call recruiting. Partners with Human Resource Representatives and hiring managers as a team, to understand their business and recruiting needs, and establish effective recruiting strategies. Source, screen, interview, and checks references of job candidates. Qualify search firms as staffing resource, and enter into contract. Attend industry related trade shows and conferences. Reports results and initiatives of recruiting activity for weekly and quarterly meetings. Create job descriptions and develop effective job postings with collaboration of hiring manager and HR Representative. Become a proficient user of applicant tracking database, generating resumes of potential candidates and daily status update of candidates. Coordinate communications with candidates and hiring managers. Maintain a strong focus on hiring manager and HR customer service. Stay apprised of and report industry competitive intelligence to HR Representatives/Managers. Self-prioritize, multi-task, and complete assignments with minimal supervision. Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred. Three plus years experience as a Recruiter, coming from a search firm or corporate environment. Energy industry experience with emphasis on exploration and production recruiting is preferred. Must be skilled at sourcing and networking to generate candidates. Proficiency required in Word and Excel and familiar with applicant tracking systems. Demonstrate proactive, positive and can-do attitude.
