The IPM’s main objective is to lead and manage the strategy, planning, and implementation of IPM and project portfolio management capabilities for Accenture clients. IPM and project portfolio management capabilities include IT governance, demand management, portfolio management, program management, project management, resource management, time management, issue management, risk management, scope change management, and financial management. Candidates must have experience standing up a PMO, implementing governance and having implemented a PMO tool. Key Responsibilities and Requirements include: • Planning and Assessments o Partner with clients to create IPM/PPM business cases to justify investments o 75% Travel required across the US o Drive IPM/PPM health assessments, either broad based or deep dive, to understand functional and/or technical health of existing capabilities and develop recommendations for improvement o Provide clients the a point of view on market-leading technologies and the pros and cons of each o Define and lead IPM/PPM proof of concept efforts to validate proposed solutions o Create capability roadmaps to develop and deliver capabilities that ensure organizational adoption • Implementation o Work with the clients to develop a IT governance and IPM/PPM requirements and processes o Lead and manage Accenture and client implementation resources and be accountable for the delivery and outcomes o Coordinate work streams to provide guidance and direction related to PPM tools, critical success factors, methodology, and enablers o Communicate with stake holders regarding status, issues, risks and other program reports Email resumes to trenese.dennise@accenture.com.
