Send resume:nanette.sherrill@hsn.net "Software Engineer III-Siebel Plays an active role in the life cycle stages of planning, requirement definition, design, development, testing and support. Utilizes more complex logic than the two more junior levels (I and II). Works on and often leads projects that are of a high or moderate degree of complexity, often involving more system integration and complex architecture. Mentors more junior level Software Engineers during the life cycle stages. Coordinates assignments for a programming team. Continuously learns about the business and integration of systems within. Responsibilities: • Designs, develops and often leads projects with a medium to high complexity. • Works with users to gather requirements or design specifications and often leads these efforts. • Documents development work. • Writes QA test plans. • Executes QA Test Plans. • Performs as the “Go-to” person on projects of a Medium to High complexity. • Provides input during design sessions. • Provides business support as needed. • Participates in production support. • Performs code revisions with programmers. Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent amount of technical work experience. • 4-6 years experience in Software Development. • Siebel 8.0 (preferably call center module, Order Entry). • Siebel 8.0 Configuration, Smart Script, Work flow, Siebel server components. • Good development experience with Siebel high-interactive application • Siebel e-scripting. • Siebel integration using EAI (MQ, Web services) and Integration Objects. • Siebel-Genesys Integration (G-Plus and EDIFY integration). • IBM MQ Series • Oracle 10G • XML, XSLT • Exposure to Control-M and Windows services. • Exposure to JAVA and/or .NET. • General understanding of retail business preferred. Soft Skills: • Strong written, oral and visual communications skills. • Interpersonal skills to support interaction with internal customers, team members, and internal management. • Excellent follow up skills. • Ability to give direction to others. • Self managed. • Ability to convey basic ideas and concepts to all levels. • Works collaboratively. • Advocates ideas. Core Qualifications: • Commitment to producing top quality, well designed and flexible custom applications. • Very strong programming ability, with great attention to detail and design. • Demonstrates ability to design and assist in the timely delivery of high-quality software. • Forward thinker with strong business sense. • Willingness to participate in after-hour and on-call support. • Desire to learn and use new technologies."
