James Murphy has started a discussion: Distributed Systems Capacity Planning Consultant in NY "Location: NY United States of America Required Skills/ Responsibilities The following knowledge and skills are required of the Distributed Systems Capacity Planning consultant: Support day-to-day functions, such as ensuring timely and successful completion of data collection and reporting functions for the distributed environment. • Facilitate and advise on the implementation of eG (eG Innovations) for the distributed environment. • Research and analysis of eG data. • Prepare monthly capacity planning update reports, covering server CPU and memory utilization levels and disk usage. • Research, design, implement and document methodology for determining utilization levels of servers in a virtualized environment (AIX and VMWare platforms), including clusters. • Research, design, implement and document methodology for determining server utilization based on workload/application. • Perform ad-hoc analyses. • Prepare portions of the Annual Capacity Planning Report related to the distributed environment. • Maintain relationships with multiple staffs to keep abreast of major distributed systems initiatives. • Research, design, implement and document methodology for reporting on web server usage. • Proactively identify areas for further research and analysis If you available then please contact me with your updated resume.
