"This is a full time permanent & direct hire job for a fast growing manufacturer of thrusters for propulsion and station-keeping of ships and other waterborne structures used in the offshore and marine transportation industries. SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES *Depending upon background, education, training, and experience, Senior Design Engineers are involved in the design of mechanical, electrical, electro-hydraulic, and control components and systems. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS *Master of Science in Mechanical, Electrical or Marine Engineering; and *Five (5) years experience in the design and manufacturing of rotating, electrical, electro-hydraulic, or marine propulsion machinery and equipment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS *Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Mechanical or Marine Engineering; and *Seven (7) years experience in the design and manufacturing of rotating, electrical, electro-hydraulic, or marine propulsion machinery and equipment or marine propulsion systems.
