Is responsible for the definition of the time schedule for the project. Is responsible for the resource planning for the project, by negotiating and committing the right resources. Is responsible for the definition and management of the financial baseline of the project and the business case. Is responsible for the design of the proposed solutions. Is responsible for meeting the business partner acceptance criteria on the project and obtaining final sign-off for the deliverables. Is responsible for the required behavioural change management. Possible consequences of incorrect decisions and/or incorrectly executed tasks: Delays in the project deliverables. Delays in other related projects. Budget overrun. Insufficient quality. The consequences are visible in short, mid term and long term period. Knowledge and Complexity: Education level Master or equal through experience. Minimum 5 years relevant work experience. Has professional knowledge of and experience with market segment/industry/technology/discipline trends. Has professional knowledge of and experience with Project Management methodologies, Prince II In case of technology driven projects: Has either thorough knowledge of or experience with the technology used or is experienced in dealing with infrastructure or technology driven projects/programs. In case of Business projects: Has professional knowledge of and experience with Process Performance and Operational Excellence methodologies: Lean, Six Sigma, Operational Management systems or any other comparable methodologies. Disciplines: COPAFLITH (Commercial & Communication, Organisation, Personnel, Administration, Finance, Legal, Information, Technology and Housing). Change management capabilities; coaching and training skills. Knowledge of the organisation, the offered services and the work domains of the different departments. Knowledge of ING governance process and documents (CMMI, AMS…). Clarity tool knowledge is a strong asset (budget, risks, issues management). Applied knowledge of Service Level Management and Management Service Provisioning (MSP) Thorough knowledge of written and spoken English. Problem solving: Leading Teams: Leads teams on the project and works with or guides team members in order to deliver on promises. Project Planning: Project journey is clear with uncertainties. Has to anticipate potential project related problems and obstacles. Some technology and approaches might not exist in the organisation, but are available outside the organisation. Financial Management: Cost estimates available based on similar projects which have been undertaken inside the organisation. Time Management: Difficulties in the schedule. Roll-out: multiple milestones with dependencies. Solutions design: use methods, tools and techniques to find creative solutions to diverse complex problems combining technical aspects as well behavioural aspects. Is able to switch between conceptual and operational. Relationship management: is able to manage resistance. Communication and consultation Communicates project information to all involved parties.
