"Technical Test Analyst Location: Leeds UK Duration: Permanent Position Role: Technical Test Analyst My Client urgently requires an experienced Technical Test Analyst to join their Leeds based team. The Technical Test Analyst is a permanent role within a fast paced and dynamic business who continues to grow on a global scale. The Technical Test Analyst utilises architecture as close to production as possible to provide an environment for technical testing and to ensure all testing tasks are performed to provide a stable, robust and scalable production system. The Technical Test Analyst also has the responsibility to coach and mentor Business Managers and Project Managers in testing processes and ensure that appropriate testing activity is undertaken as per agreed plans, inline with the defined strategy. Specific responsibilities of the Technical Test Analyst: A good general understanding of IT system environments i.e. operating systems, networking, applications, databases and N Tier Architectures. Understanding of verification and validation techniques and the ability to apply them to assure product quality. Work with external testing services to understand plans for Component Performance Testing within ‘Cloud’ hosted environments. As Technical Test Analyst you will need to have the following essential skills: At least 6 months experience in a development or technical test or non functional test role; Java / C# Development - Minimum Junior level Database (SQL) Experience Automation testing/performance tools experience desirable (Selenium) Knowledge of Web Services/Servers (Tomcat, Jetty, Weblogic) Knowledge of Web Calls (POST, GET) Knowledge of HTML/XML/SOAP Knowledge of Javascript/Flash/Flex Windows and Unix Command Line experience desirable This is an urgent role for an experienced Technical Test Analyst that is integral to the business and team.
