The ability to establish strong business relationships based on industry knowledge and a creative and organized approach to sales development are critical to success. Innovations in product and packaging must be effectively communicated to maintain a leadership position within the industry. • Salesperson responsible for growing the beverage business within foodservice, restaurant chain, c-store, liquor and concession industries. • Salesperson with skills in developing and maintaining relationships with new customers and maintain a customer database • The timely preparation of sales action plans and schedules for product presentations. • The development and maintenance of sales and promotional materials • Responsible for new client product introductions and building relationships with clients • Must be able to aggressively find new business • Must be familiar with the competition and current market conditions • Willingness to travel as needed to new client locations and to maintain strong client relationships • Must perform additional duties as described by the Vice President of Sales and Marketing and the management team. Qualifications • Must have an aggressive hard working business building mentality • Must have existing relationships in one or more of the above classes of trade. • Must have a good knowledge and understanding of the beverage industry. • Must understand co-packing and private label sales and marketing • Must have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal • The candidate must be energetic, persistent, tenacious and well organized. • The Candidate must have a basic knowledge of relevant computer applications and the principles and practices of sales documentation and follow up. • The Candidate should know and practice great customer service and business principles • The Candidate must be able to make excellent presentations and show a record of achieving sales targets • The Candidate should have a background in both local and top national sales account experience."
