Determines and develops architectural strategies, roadmaps, approaches and solutions 2. Conducts business reviews, documents current systems, and develops recommendations of how to proceed with the applications. 3. Translates business needs into long-term architecture solutions. 4. Assesses industry standards for models, and where appropriate, incorporates them into our architecture standards 5. Lead efforts to architect complex technical solutions, coordinating with all necessary subject matter experts. 6. Understands, advocates, and supports IT strategies. 7. Trains and mentors others on the team. 8. Participates as technical lead on major projects and application roll-outs. QUALIFICATIONS Required: • BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technical field, plus 5 years of IT Architecture experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. • Ability to translate short and long-range strategic plans for architecture into design and implementation of current and future applications. • Excellent interpersonal, oral/presentation and written communication skills in both technical and non-technical language. • Strong leadership, project and team building skills – ability to lead teams and drive projects and initiatives by working effectively with others with a demonstrated ability to work cross departmentally. • Strong collaborator – willingness to share ideas, documentation and best practices. • Conceptual and analytical thinker – ability to extract, analyze and document complex business and technical requirements/strategies from customers and IT team members. Desired: • MS in computer science or other related field • Experience and continuing education in the field of data modeling and architecture • Experience with ErWin or PowerDesigner data modeling tool suites • Experience with SAP including Business Data Warehouse, ERP and CR • Experience with at least one of these two BI tool sets: SAP Business Objects BI tools for ETL, Analysis and Reporting Microsoft SQL BI tools for ETL, Analysis and Reporting • PMI PMLC and Agile SDLC experience/training • Technical writing • Supervisory or managerial experience • Experience with Business Objects BI tools • Certification in Project Management • Supervisory or managerial experience Client offers a comprehensive pay package that includes competitive compensation, annual goals-based incentive bonuses, comprehensive cafeteria-style benefits, 401(K), a company paid retirement pension plan, a generous paid time off package, and an employee assistance and wellness program.
