"Description: Dynamic, strong growth global manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Production Manager at their Plant location in the Rome, Georgia area. Company is in expansion due to product line additions and growth of existing product lines business. The Production Manager reports to the Plant Manager and is a Continuous Improvement position with ongoing responsibilities. The Production Manager plans production operations, establishes priorities and sequences for manufacturing and ensures that scheduled deadlines and quality standards are met. Works closely with plant safety and quality teams to proactively identify issues, develop procedures, and give the appropriate training and equipment to employees. Some specific duties include: Managing Shift Supervisors and their shift operations Meeting Quality requirements and expectations Safety focus & training Meeting required production volumes based on schedules and needs Ability to effectively interact with production operators, plant & division management, vendors and customers The position requires proven production management success, expertise in staff development, statistical managerial techniques, and troubleshooting equipment and processes on the manufacturing lines. You should enjoy a daily challenge of efficient production; have conflict resolution skills, and success at improving productivity and problem solving. This position is part of the Strategic Plant Leadership Team. Requirements: We are looking for a BS degree in Engineering or in Business with 4+ years of production engineering and leadership/management experience. Prefer textiles experience.
