Function as part of the Senior Management Team •This position would have a dual role function; manage the overall financial needs of the company and to also oversee overall day-to-day production. Become Part of the Team •It is essential that the executive be able to mesh with the culture of excellence and uncompromising quality of our company Financing Strategy •Position requires the executive to help shape a macro and micro financing strategy for the company. This person would work closely with the CEO and Board of Directors in setting fiscal policy and reporting metrics. Additionally, the position would also require the management of any institutional and banking relationships. Budget and Forecasting •Develop annual and quarterly operating budgets with senior management for review by CEO and approval by BOD. Executive must also enhance existing KPI's, leading indicators and develop other performance metrics. Financial Reporting •Oversee all financial reporting and work with operations team to develop key performance indicators and manage manufacturing cost accounting Research •Position would require executive to research new business opportunities that are spearheaded by the CEO and the business development department. This would require market research, financial modeling and evaluation of risk and to be presented to BOD for approval. Operational Controls and Safeguards •Evaluate current operations and make recommendations to minimize operations risks both internally and externally. Additionally, the executive must develop sound alternative plans in the event of an operation failure so the company can mitigate any losses due to failure. Protect on the Upside and Downside •Executive must develop a sound financial plan to preserve cash, maximize profits and minimize loses. Desired Skills & Experience •Candidates should have relevant experience in food manufacturing, product development, food logistics and /or co-packing.
