Subject: Customer Security Manager (SecurityCleared) (20110801-1AB) - M4 Corridor – £60,000+ ( + Bens) Scott Spencer posted a job: Customer Security Manager (SecurityCleared) (20110801-1AB) - M4 Corridor – £60,000+ ( + Bens) "Customer Security Manager reporting to Head of Customer Security Overall Role Purpose: The Customer Security Manager’s primary goals are to manage the security requirements set out in customer contracts and security schedules/security aspects letters and to ensure that our client is providing the prescribed services, performing its obligations, and exercising its rights under contract. The Customer Security Manager will analyse and access the risk, impact of exploits and vulnerabilities and initiate remedial actions required to mitigate the risk to our clients infrastructure, services, platforms and systems which we provide to their varied and valued customer base, both internally and externally. COMPETENCIES (Skills and Experience): Essential: Proven experience of specifying and delivering cost-effective, risk management-driven security solutions to customers within a Telecommunications company or an equivalent environment. A thorough knowledge of commercial and UK Government security policies and standards. Experience of devising and implementing Information Security Management Systems in line with ISO27000 and a similar knowledge and understanding of implementing business continuity and DR capabilities in line with BS25999. A minimum of 5 years experience in a role predominately dealing with planning, implementing and maintaining security products and services to customers. Security Cleared Desirable: ISO27001 or BS25999 Lead Auditor. CLAS Consultant. Working knowledge of OCNS requirements. Full details can be found on the XRE Website.
