For more information visit: www.presidio.com Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for an experienced Data Center Solutions Architect to support the Washington, DC metro region that has the skills and commitment to help us succeed. Presidio’s Data Center Solutions Architects work directly with our clients and account managers to gather functional and technical requirements, craft and engineer viable solutions, and present the solution to our client. Specific responsibilities include: • Meet with clients to identify the functional and technical requirements and constraints • Design and Engineer detailed technical solutions that meet or exceed the requirements • Create all supporting documentation including Proposals, Statements of Work, Network Diagrams, etc. • Create an implementation approach including major phases and required roles • Create Bills of Materials for the Account Manager • Price the Professional Services for implementation • Present and articulate the solution and implementation approach to the customer • Provide direction and mentorship to more junior Systems Engineers in the department The types of solutions that this professional will design and engineer include the following: • Cisco Nexus Data Center Switching Solutions • Hewlett Packard Converged Infrastructure (Virtualization Computing and Storage) • VMWARE and Microsoft Virtualization Solutions • EMC and NetApp Storage Solutions • Microsoft Server Solutions • Traditional Routing & Switching Solutions • Datacenter Security Solutions Job Requirements: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Excellent presentation skills • Extensive experience in the design, planning, and implementation of complex communications solutions based on Cisco technologies • Skill and experience in multiple technology disciplines • The ability to communicate complex solutions in a simple and straight-forward way • The consulting skills required to work with customers to take ambiguous goals and turn them into actionable projects • Team-oriented performer with an outstanding work ethic • CCIE, VCP and NCSA/NCIE are highly desirable Presidio offers excellent compensation and benefits packages commensurate with the skills and experience this position requires.
