The Production Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and development of manufacturing associates for second shift operations. Assures a safe, efficient, and quality work environment is implemented and maintained to achieve optimum customer service, continuous improvement, and the prevention of failures. Responsibilities: Regularly communicate with the Manager of Operations/Manufacturing, Logistics, Supervisors and Team Leaders to assist in scheduling strategy and implementation (overtime requirements, AOP Personnel requirements). Ability to work as a team member towards overall Company objectives. Direct the manufacturing associates by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing ATS policies, procedures and guidelines to achieve yearly goals as determined by the Division. Actively participate with the entire Operations Team to support improvement initiatives. Identifies current and future manufacturing requirements by establishing rapport with Management, Engineering, Operations Team, Quality Assurance and Associates. Direct/manage the shop floor reporting functions to assure accuracy and timeliness. (Control Plans, PM Checklists, Production Reports, Down Time Reports, Scrap/Project Reports, etc.) Qualifications/Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. A minimum of 6 years operational experience in an automotive manufacturing environment (preferably in metal forming and joining). At least 4 years in a management position.
