In our continued growth a new plant is under production. The Plant Manager will lead the operations team responsible for the manufacture and assembly, and on-time delivery of high quality heat exchangers, products and systems. Responsibilities: Leadership / Management of a professional team including engineering, manufacturing, including organization structure development, recruitment, training and coaching. Maximize efficiency through the design and implementation of improved manufacturing strategies and allocate assets and resources to meet quality, safety, cost, delivery, and volume and productivity goals to assure world class manufacturing processes and products are achieved. Orchestrate and approve changes in operations at facility including safety, equipment, tooling, and layout. Support lean initiatives and develop lean culture throughout the organization. Benchmark, and establish performance metrics, collect / report results, to further drive improvements and understand root causes. Manage the budget and personnel expenses and deliver on commitments by controlling cost, capital, inventory and assets. Assure compliance with all federal, state, local and corporate policies, laws, and regulations. Education: Bachelor's Degree in operations, engineering or related technical field preferred, with advanced technical or business administration degree required. Knowledge of, and experience in, lean manufacturing or Toyota Production System (TPS) including deployment desired. Three plus years experience in manufacturing management with ten or more years in an automotive or Tier 1 Supplier manufacturing environment.
