Job Description: • You will manage warehousing operations and will carry out responsibilities in the areas of shipping, receiving and order fulfillment. • Your team will ship products within scheduled times and in proper rotation. • You'll have daily interaction with plant operations, scheduling and quality assurance and will inspect and report on warehouse inventory. • Must be a "hands-on" manager who directs a team of 15 non-union, hourly employees. • Must have stellar communication skills! • Additional responsibilities may include freight contract negotiation and coordinating carriers for loads, managing cross docking operations, monitoring your department budget objectives and maintaining adequate accumulated inventory. • Forklift driver certification a plus. Qualifications / Requirements: •Associates or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. •Minimum of five years experience supervising warehouse / distribution operations is required. •Must have experience with cross-docking •Refrigerated food environment preferred. •Proficient use of Microsoft Suite preferred."
