Due to their Expansion Project in Colombia, we are looking for a: Sr. Construction Safety Officer "Reporting to the Sr Construction Manager, his/her main responsibility will be to develop, implement and monitor all the safety systems to guarantee a safety environmental work for all the contractors of the expansion project, employees and for the operations of the company. Develop, set up and oversee the strategies to follow in order to improve the safety performance. Guarantee the accomplishment of the HSE norms corresponding to the Sustainable Development of the company in a reasonable and possible way. We are looking for a professional with at least 10 years’ experience developing the following activities: He/she should be able to prove a proactive attitude for the Safety and PMT management. Also able to boost in a constant way the safety culture and reinforce the basic safety conducts. He/she needs to work together with HSEC Engineers. He/she should actively contribute to have a safety place and guarantee the accomplishment of all the Sustainable Development policies. He/she should be able to develop and maintain the general H&S norms, so that the company can fulfill the HSEC Plan requirements. He/she should review and approve constructive procedures set out by the contractors of the project, making sure that the established norms are protocols are followed by everybody. Other function is to oversee in a monthly basis that the Contractors are fulfilling the Sustainable Development asked by the company. Besides this this person should distribute information related to Sustainable Development of the workforce (security alerts, information about the investigation of incidents, actualizations of appropriate legislation, approval of project, etc.) Help to identify risks and incidents at the working place. Set out and administrate the Sustainable Development Committee. Requirements to apply: The person needs to be an Industrial Engineering Professional or Licensed in Security & Safety Sciences with at least 10 years of experience as Safety Analyst in Construction Projects. The person should be fluent in both English & Spanish. Certificate of Audit in Health & Safety. Deep knowledge in local & international obligations for OH & S. International experience is preferred.
