Please review all of our national and international job listings at www.7SolutionsUSA.com General Comments POSITION TITLE: Manager, Operations Design, Supply Chain Services LOCATION: Flexible - preferably Atlanta, GA; Nashville, TN; Cleveland, OH; West Reading, PA  POSITION SUMMARY: This position will primarily focus on managing and conducting analysis, modeling, research, presentation development, and knowledge capture. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: •Project Management by means of supporting the planning and organization of the Client project. •Managing and collaborating with small teams either internal and/or Client stakeholders during engagements. •Taking the lead in development of a portion of Client deliverables and presentations. •Managing project financials by means of creating budgets and timelines, and overseeing expenses and staffing. •Storing, gathering, and analyzing data by means of MS Excel and MS Access. •Data modeling using proprietary tools and package tools for financial and operational modeling. •Supporting delivery of solutions including business process redesign, distribution center (DC) design, organizational design, etc. •Researching as requested. •Designing and leading focus groups. •Writing and delivering high quality documentation and analysis. •Developing specific technical expertise, e.g., Network Modeling, DC Design, Operations Implementation, etc. Additional responsibilities include: •Offering business point of view during project efforts and deliverables. •Developing and supporting internal business systems and processes. •Writing and contributing to white papers. •Demonstrating leadership by providing vision, direction and guidance to Client teams, and by overseeing and delegating responsibilities to Associates. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: •Bachelor’s degree with evidence of strong performance in engineering, logistics, or business •Minimum 3 years of experience in distribution center (DC) environment •Supply chain consulting related work experience with a minimum of 4-6 years cumulative experience in consulting services not including internal consulting roles •Experience in performing IE work in complex supply chains •Experience in DC operations design including DC layout, operations improvement, material handling system (MHS) design, process design, value stream mapping, etc. •Proven involvement with business case development •Strong project management and problem solving skills •Technical expertise (e.g., Network Modeling, DC Design, Operations Implementation) •Strong level of business acumen •Ability to manage overall project efforts and Client relationships •Ability to employ persuasion skills with discretion and consideration •Ability to coach, lead, and manage others •Ability to manage internal efforts •Strong analytical skills •Ability to work effectively on a team and support high levels of performance •High level comprehension of financial analysis •Excellent facilitation skills •Excellent research and knowledge management skills •Advanced collaboration and communication skills, both written and verbal •Desire to continually add value to and ensure accuracy and quality in all work performed •Ability to perform essential functions of the job This position will require extensive overnight travel."
