RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide high level technical expertise and project management; - Apply technical knowledge and methods to formulate solutions to complex problems in the field of geotechnical engineering; - Apply knowledge and expertise to perform complex geotechnical evaluations and investigations; - Assist and lead in the conceptual design of construction projects; - Assist in and perform estimating of construction projects. REQUIREMENTS: - BS degree in Civi Engineering or related degree; A Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering is preferrable; - California PE license; - 5 to 10 years of heavy construction or geotechnical construction experience; - Design experience in deep foundations, earth retention, and ground improvement; - Design experience in heavy construction; - Experience working on Caltrans projects; - Excellent communications skills both oral and written; - Experience with Geotechnical design software applications.
