Subject: Electromagnetic Field Applications Engineer Job # 3046 Hampton, Virginia Gary Edwards posted a job: Electromagnetic Field Applications Engineer Job # 3046 Hampton, Virginia "We are a rapidly growing company that markets and supports leading electromagnetic simulation software · Support the design of Antennas, RF and microwave applications through the use of 3DEM simulation tool FEKO. · We are seeking highly motivated candidates to provide technical support to the growing customer base. · Perform as a specialist in the use and application of EM Software and System’s 3D Electromagnetic Simulation tool, FEKO. · Provide in-depth technical support and analyze relevant data from customers to resolve technical situations for customers. · Provide on-site demonstrations, presentations, and training for EM Software and System’s products in support of the sales and marketing efforts. · Perform pre- and post sales support of customer including evaluations, software benchmarking and high-level technical support. · Provide training and support (on-site, via telephone, and email) to increase the productivity of our customers and enhance their ability to apply our technology to their design challenges. · Work closely with customers to qualify opportunities and propose solutions together. · Provide the technical knowledge to define the best solution meeting customers requirements. · Collect feedback for development staff and management to guarantee customers requirements are met in developing new and/or upgraded products. · Develop materials for technical seminars, application notes, trade journals and conferences. · Work with UNIX/Linux and MS Windows operating systems. · Clearly understand and work with principles of Electromagnetics. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 1. Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering - Masters in Electrical Engineering is preferred 2. Excellent verbal communication skills in English 3. US Citizenship is mandatory 4. Current work history in electromagnetic software such as HFSS, FEKO, CST or similar 3D Electromagnetic Simulation tools. 5. 1-10 years of industry work experience"
