Subject: Marketing and Solutions Manager OSS – UK Ipswich Rachael Manning posted a job: Marketing and Solutions Manager OSS – UK Ipswich "On behalf of our client, a major and fast growing Telecommunications company, Manning Global Group are currently recruiting for an Marketing & Solution Manager OSS for a 2 FTC Perm position in the UK based in Ipswich. Be responsible for product and marketing support for the client’s NMS product line, with a primary focus on the BT account. This role is a part of the Marketing and Solutions team. The career path is to senior manager with extended support for the UK and EU customer base. Key Responsibilities: - Pre and post sales support for Client’s NMS products. Includes OSS/NMS interface and EMS network design. This is across the Client’s product line including Transmission, Access and Datacom products. - NMS and network product requirements capture; NMS roadmap support - Customer Ask and change request management; ITT and bid support. - EMS platform design and solution deployment support. - TMF OSS Standards implementation and participation. Essential Requirements: A) Knowledge, Qualification and Experience Required - Bachelor or higher degree in Telecommunications, computer science or related telecommunication discipline; - Experience of tier 1 operator OSS and NMS design and deployment - Deep knowledge of operator OSS and network OAM&P and FCAPS requirements;. - Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint; B) Skills and Competencies Needed - Hardworking and welcome challenges; Proactive and responsible; - Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with a wide variety of people; - Ability to lead or chair internal and customer meetings; - Good oral and written communication, interpersonal skills and fluency in English - Good time management with the ability to organize and prioritize own work load with minimal supervision and work to tight deadlines; - Strong process and interface analysis skills. - Interviewing skills, to talk with individuals and groups about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information - Ability to create process and design documents and records accurately with strong attention to details; - Ability to exercise initiative and work both independently and cooperatively as part of a team; - Ability to adapt to a changing workflow and work flexibly. - Willing to grow with the company together - Knowledge of BT OSS interface requirements is desirable If you are suitable and interested in this position, please send your CV in Word Format to Anabelle Gelle at sales@manningglobal.com with the following reference LIAG/M&SM-OSS-12696 or call +49 89 2388 9842 for the further information."
