Headquartered in Willowbrook, Illinois, USA, Midtronics has additional offices in the Netherlands and China along with a worldwide network of distributors. We are seeking an ideal candidate to be based in India to create and manage battery testing/monitoring equipment sales opportunities in India stationary power markets, including Telecommunications, Critical Power/UPS, Power Utilities & Battery Suppliers. This position offers opportunities to grow sales and introduce new products to the market. MUST have Sales experience in UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply), telecomunications battery systems, stationary/industrial batteries, DC Power, back-up-power and /or power utility market is a must. The incumbent should also have an accurate understanding of the target customers, their needs and issues. Responsibilites: • Direct selling to telecommunications, critical power, battery suppliers, power utility and other segments of Uninterrupted Power Supply Equipment. • Establish effective stratagies for entering our target market, anticipate furture market trends, customer requirements, competitor actions and create Midtronics brand positioning/awareness in India. • Represent the company to conduct the field validation test, customer training, and attend industry events, provide professional product and corporate presentations to potential customers. • Manage daily interfaces with Indian customers/distributors to enhance customer knowledge and interest of our corporate value/service performance. • Help to establish varied strategies for the slaes and marketing, product, and launch customization initiatives to better penetrate the market. • Achieve the sales quota in a quarterly base. • Other projects as assigned by manager. Qualifications: • Special skills: At least 5 years successful AC and / or DC Power industry or related sales. • Special software requirements: Fluent in Windows applications. • Education: Bachelors Degree in Engineering, or related field preferred, MBA preferred. • Must be able to travel 50% to 75% within assigned sales region • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills. • Possess leadership skills, technical aptitude, and a positive attitude Please forward resume to: msmith@midtronics.com"
