Subject: Scientist IV - DMPK in Ridgefield, CT - send resumes to dan.wienczkowski@rightthinginc.com Dan Wienczkowski, ACIR, CIR, CDR, CSSR, PRC posted a job: Scientist IV - DMPK in Ridgefield, CT - send resumes to dan.wienczkowski@rightthinginc.com "Title: Scientist IV, DMPK Location: Ridgefield, CT Responsibilities: - Initiate and complete routine procedures in an efficient manner. - This position will involve the conduct of in vitro studies to evaluate the metabolism of new drug candidates. - Studies include identification and quantification of metabolites in biological matrices by LC/MS/MS, protein quantitation using LC/MS/MS, and routine instrument maintenance and troubleshooting. Other responsibilities include measuring rates of metabolism, assessing the potential for enzyme inhibition and induction, and working with hepatocytes. - Design and execute non-routine drug metabolism experiments. - Demonstrate the ability to correctly analyze and interpret outcome of experiments. - Communicate own work orally and in writing and provide input toward scientific reports; treat data with a high level of integrity and ethics. - Have opportunities to manage drug metabolism-related projects to support development drugs - Comply with applicable regulations, performing all work in a safe manner, and maintain proper records in accordance with SOPs and policies. - Studies will involve safe and careful handling of potentially biohazardous material and therefore attention to detail is important. Experience conducting these types of studies is an advantage, not a requirement. Requirements: - Bachelors or Masters Degree - Minimum 6 years experience in drug metabolism, analytical chemistry, organic chemistry, biological sciences, pharmacology, or a relevant scientific discipline - Ability to operate laboratory equipment - Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts - Concise and accurate reporting of technical data and information - Ability to troubleshoot problems Please email your resume to - dan.wienczkowski@rightthinginc.com"
