"On behalf of our client, a prestigious international Telecommunications company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for a Product Assurance Manager to work on a permanent basis in the UK, starting ASAP. Specific Role Responsibilities: - Be responsible for the provision of product assurance support during the development, testing and qualification phases of new product introduction into the network. - To provide on-going contract support by monitoring Product performance with respect to contract conditions. - Instigate recovery plans to minimise network impact and perform Quality Costing to quantify the financial impact of failures. Advise on the most appropriate action to recover and correct/prevent failures. - To work closely with customer’s product line, marketing and other departments to establish co-ordinated solutions. - Design Product Assurance requirements with associated milestone criteria in our clients processes and ensure that targets are achieved; - Define and establish clearly defined quality methods and standards - Define quality procedures in conjunction with Product line requirements - Develop product assurance controls to meet the needs of all stakeholders. - Set up, maintain and improve controls and documentation procedures as part of software deliveries; - Define and report Product Assurance software and hardware key indexes agree improvement activities with Product Line. - During the product life cycle perform reliability monitoring activities with the aim of reducing whole life costs - Collate and analyse Product Assurance data against defined contractual levels and agree quality target for continuous improvements - Perform root-cause analysis and corrective actions on software and hardware issues; - Conduct internal or third party software audits and ensure the execution of corrective actions; - Establish software and hardware standards and requirements. Specific qualification requirements - At least five years relevant experience in professional software or/and hardware development, engineering and quality assurance - Good knowledge of systems engineering methods, techniques, design rules - Experience working in a variety of programming languages and environments, architectural design and testing - Good knowledge of reliability engineering - Familiarity with product assurance practices together with a good working knowledge of appropriate software quality tools and techniques, bug tracking and correction system - Practical experience in applying software quality assurance methods and standards: unit, integration, regression, user interface automated testing - Certified Lead TickIT or BSI auditor - Knowledge and application of requirements engineering and CMMI - Knowledge of TL9000 If you are interested, available and have the appropriate skills and experiences for the above position, please forward your updated resume in a word document to Ming at sales@manningglobal.com with the following reference LIMH/AssurMgr-12694 or call +49 (0) 89 2388 9854 for further information."
