"Human Resources Generalist Description This position performs Human Resources related duties at the professional level including but not limited to recruitment, employment, employee relations, and special projects supporting the company’s talent management strategy. Develops and maintains strong business partnerships. • Based on business needs allocates 50-60% of time to recruit, screen and interview job applicants to ensure quality hiring and adequate staffing levels for all levels. entry, professional and technical, at the corporate headquarters. Recommends recruitment strategy for each open position; posting, advertising methods, market benchmarking data, internet resume mining and other vital information to ensure the highest level of candidates for the open position. • Develops and implements proactive recruitment techniques. Analyzes applicant tracking data; reviews and adjusts recruitment activities as needed. • Coordinates background checks and pre-employment drug screens for candidates. Communicates results back to hiring managers. • Responsible for the new hire orientation process of all new corporate employees; ensures the accurate completion of required employment paperwork and related systems set-up. • Establish effective partnerships with managers, supervisors and staff to develop and implement strategic human capital solutions. • Assists with evaluating, monitoring, administering, recommending and modifying personnel policies for continuous improvement. • Communicates company information and various human resources policies and updates in a timely manner. Prepares and delivers written and oral communications. • Conducts exit interviews and surveys; analyzes data and makes recommendations to the Director of Staffing & Employee Relations management team for continuous improvement and retention. • Responsible for special projects supporting the Director of Staffing and Employee Relations as they pertain to companywide talent management strategy. • Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established department goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. • Performs routine administrative/office tasks as required, including but not limited to preparing reports and correspondence, reviewing mail and literature, attending meetings, etc. • Has appropriate operational knowledge of relevant compliance and regulatory guidelines and law as applicable by Federal and State laws. • Interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals such as immediate supervisor, other managers, supervisors, employees, family member of employees, job applicant, guests, corporate officials and employees, vendors, school/college personnel, employment agencies, community organizations, media resources, and general public. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Human Resources Management, or a related field, preferably supplemented by one to two years experience in Human Resources Management or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
