It ensures the availability of critical parts to guarantee uninterrupted production at Volkswagen de Mexico during series production, ramp up, and model year changes. In addition, it assists in developing proper inventory levels while monitoring fulfillment of supplier shipping schedules. A key element is the daily contact with suppliers and VWM personnel to determine shipping status against the supplier shipping schedules. This role supports the negotiation and implementation of cost savings measures related to transportation and packaging."
