They invest in a wide range of asset classes in the primary and secondary market across Pan-Asian, European, and US markets. They are looking for high caliber, focused, and dynamic Prop/Execution Traders with proven track records to build desks within their Hong Kong operations. You will be required to; • Assist in the development of business strategy and achieve profit targets of the desk, • Develop, model, and implement trade strategy and execute trade within the corporate risk profile, • Formulate various option strategies, • Update daily portfolio positions and prepare market reports, • Conduct dynamic hedging on positions, • Setup operational processes and procedures of the trading desk, • Assist in the setup infrastructure for the firm in trading across products and markets, • Calculate the total delta and risk exposure, • Monitor proprietary trading system and maintain daily operation of the various markets trading desk, • Conduct and investigate any P&L or position breaks and find solutions to the problems, • Coordinate with IT department in providing oversight, maintenance, and system enhancement of the trading infrastructure, • Liaise with Exchanges, System Vendors, Service Providers, Counter-Parties, and Brokers, • Maintain up to date knowledge of new products/procedures on various exchanges, • Source market information, stock news, and research material. Ideally you will have; • Over 5 years of trading experience in selected markets and products, • Relevant SFC licenses, • Experience in executing trade for a wide range of asset classes, • Good connections in pre-IPO and secondary markets, • Sound knowledge of electronic trading platforms, • Detailed knowledge of Asian, UK, European, or US markets, • Good communications skills in English and Chinese, • A self starter, responsible, and results oriented mindset, • A capable and analytical mind.
