Tarana Verma posted a job: Front Office SR Java/C++ Developer - Singapore "Build Pricing Tools & Risk Applications Face off to Traders, Work with Quants One of the most progressive banks globally An exciting opportunity for a Pricing and Risk Developer has arisen in a well-established and progressive global bank in Singapore. Working for the Commodities business, you will join a small but elite team of front office programmers, who are building a next generation trading platform that will revolutionise the Emerging Markets business. Your main deliverables will be to develop in server-side C++ or Java, pricing and risk management components of the Commodities Trading engine. To achieve this, you can expect to interact with the business to understand their needs, work with Quant Analysts to adapt code libraries, compute PnL sensitivities and simulate product behaviour to facilitate trading decisions by the business. To qualify for this opening, you must have built pricing and risk management applications for the commodities or derivatives business. You have proven experience of working closely with traders and quant analysts, and a deep understanding of risk sensitivities and can articulate their impact on the business. You must have a solid server-side, multithreaded programming background in either C++ or Java, and are still hands-on in coding. Any grid or distributed computing experience is advantageous.
